Nice setup Anthony. I remember a time when some of the best programs available were run from dual floppies.
Charger, I'm needing to upgrade myself, do you till want to sell that 4mb video card ? If your motherboard will support them, I have a couple of 2mb sticks of ram to throw in on the trade.

Well I forgot to mention that it's actually a 1.5mb video card now...the other day I heard a pop and then fizz and saw a little puff of smoke come out the back of the computer...but hey, not to worry I still get pretty good graphics on BHD...are the guys suppose to be all white like that though?:cool2:

Soon... I will have to let my wallet recover for a little while. This started out to be a simple $250 cpu/mobo upgrade.
I went over budget considerably ... :help:

Wow, nice rig, AntNee! I knew MH was installing all kinds of amazing bells, whistles and magic dust... but I didn't know about the low-tech slide, and WHERE'S THE BAR?!

That ViewSonic is nice :icon_super.gif:
imo the crt will always kick butt on the plasma's, but I would need a much bigger desk for that.
And I seriously doubt that I had anything to do with your decision to buy that monitor Legolas, so don't blame me.

All kidding aside,I have wanted the 19" for awhile.I also just installed a new sound card....Creative sound blaster audigy gamer,24 bit 96K/100db SNR .I got this sucker running through my home theater system's auxillary port.Playing BHD is outstanding. Someone hit me with a AT4 and it made the floor rumble like it went off next to my chair. (the landlord is loving me for it,he lives upstairs!Lol!):ar15: :2gunsfiring_v1.gif: :snipersmilie.gif: :bigun2: :new_shocked:

Sound is gotta be the untmost number one aspect of gaming that apeals to me...of course haveing great graphics really helps but I've owned some crappy computers that had just good graphics and killer sound...nothing like hearing the tango's walking above you upstairs or down a hall way and then ploting their every move as they come to get you.
The only real frustration with computers and for the people like us who strive for the "KILLER MACHINE" is one month we can dish out a couple grand for a great system only to have somethign better come out next month..."Oh I should have waited for that!" :cool2:

I agree
I work, play, & live in an office/warehouse. That may sound rough, but I am hardly roughin' it. The best thing about this business park is that in the evenings, nights & weekends... I have no neighbors. :D
IMO, watching a movie, or playing a game with the sound cranked & sub-woofers shaking the walls is awesome. No theatre would risk the damage to their building & patrons as I can here... Anyone remember "Earthquake" in "sense-around"? Remember the injuries & lawsuits from ceiling tiles breaking loose & hitting the audience? :lol4:
There is one exception: LAN games when Watkins is playing. He will fire his weapon in random directions until he hears the hit near you coming from the speakers on your pc, thus giving away your position. ;)

Good job Anthony, about time someone shed some light on those cheesy 'techniques'... (now maybe the sheep can get some rest tonight.)

Sounds like you need to dish out $33.25 for a good Plantronics PC Headset (http://www.founderstelecom.com/aud90sterpch.html)... (Got mine 6 years ago for $70)
