I enjoyed it. interesting writing right up to the end. :)

I would be interested on any other peoples opinion on it.

I'm not sure i get your take on it. Did the story anger you so much that you disliked it?

Oh no... I enjoyed the movie very much!

I had it figured out early on, when Gale was interviewed on the talk show and couldn't name one innocent person who had been put to death by the penal system.

Unfortunately, what Gale and his associates (co-worker, attorney, the cowboy) did was illegal. While the journalist was manipulated by this motly crew, she too was guilty of withholding evidence and obstructing justice when she chose not to share the end of the video tape...

My initial comment still holds true... Most viewers will see Gale's death as the "ultimate sacrifice" to abolish the death penalty. In truth, he saw a way to bilk the media for millions of dollars, and then commit "suicide by penal system."

I didn't figure it out early. But something touched me about the film that actually brought tears to my eyes. Maybe i was just feeling sensitive when i saw it (both times).

I wonder if your being a resident of Texas had an influence on your opinion.

Suicide is homicide in the book I live by, but idunno about her call, or his.

Keep in mind, this is just a story, not real. But a story that (at least for me) makes you think a little.

I like a story that makes you think :)

The movie ended at the point we discovered the end of the tape. So (not that it matters) we don't know what she did with that tape.
