When I first made this post I gave the URL for the Asian drivers.

If you have an American version, you should install the American drivers, otherwise the update may not work correctly. See the original post for updated driver location. No harm done - just install those over top of whatever else you have done. :)

In the Windows 2K/XP device manager, after the update, the driver version should be 253. :)

Did you ever get them downloaded?

I find they really help Comanche 4 in headphone mode. I find the sound much cleaner and the panning smoother.

i finally got it yesterday morning at 3:00 am pst

i'm not sure i am happy about it yet... so far it installed a startup "eax" splash dohicky that somehow took up 95% of my sys resources. i cancelled that, but really have not noticed anything else.
