Opps...sorry about that (hehe). As a matter of fact I did happin to watch it the other night. A very interesting movie and I would suggest that any one who happens to like wizards and hobbits see it. This movie had some really awesome sword fights to say the least and the speical effects are dazzling. I don't want to give any of the plot away cause its the kind of movie you need to watch from begingin to end to get the full effect of it. I rate this a "must see".

..mmm...er...was that okay Anthony? (hehe)

i liked it.

but i was pissed off that i had to watch 3 hours of the quest and then it just ended before it was done...

sequel set-up

Yes, I agree..the ending was somewhat of a disapointment and I think they could have done a little better of a job with it, a continuation and sitting for another three hours to see what happens. Obviously the quest is far from being over or,I'm guessing we'll be experienceing this guys life as a much older and wiser hobbit, he may just become the master wizard. You know **** well he'll somehow start useing the ring for evil doings, against his will of course and will be forgiven at the end...we'll just have to see!

No. No. No. You got it all wrong. He wasn't playing an elf, he was still an agent back then. Just they did not have any cool black suits. That's what the business men wore back in the day.

Thats wild! I have seen both flicks and never put the two face to that actor! :nixweiss.gif::4B: But the movies do not do the books justice. They left out a lot of escapades with the hobbits before the got to Rivendell with Aragorn. But all in all the movies do bring the books to life and were well done visually!:thumb:

Well Legolas considering your name I'm surprised you didn't do the review. I downloaded the movie about two months ago and I've seen it several times now. I read the books way back when I WAS a D&D geek. Lol. The visuals were stunning bringing to life some of the action scenes. The overall acting was a little overdone, but in all very true to the storyline from the books. 3.5 out of 4 Ghosts on the Pac-o-Meter. :alcoholic.gif:

I started to read the book years ago, all three in one so to speak, i gave up about half way through cause i got bored , fantasy isn't really my thing.

However i must say i did enjoy the film, special effects were well done, so i agree with charger if you like like wizards and elfs then this one is for you.

Also on a note, this is not the first LOTR film made in 1978 an animated version was made, apparently it didn't do to well at the box office, i saw it on video years ago , i thought it was quite good.
